About Co-ops

Serving as a resource for co-op employees, board members and patrons, the following five videos provide a unique, visual approach for explaining the differences and benefits of a cooperative business. From the history of how cooperatives were founded, to the benefit they provide economically, the videos cover a range of cooperative subjects and give a greater understanding of cooperative businesses.

The videos were developed by the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives in cooperation with Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Extension and Outreach, with funds provided by CoBank.
