Dave serves as the Executive Director for the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives. In this role, Dave is responsible for working with the Board of Directors to make sure the Institute is providing our members the services and information they need to make their cooperative successful. Dave has worked at the Iowa Institute since 1995 and has worked in the cooperative system since 1986.
Nancy serves as the Office Manager for the Iowa Institute. Nancy maintains all the documents, coordinates meetings and serves as the first point of contact when you call our office. Nancy has worked at the Iowa Institute since 2014.
Rebecca serves as Director of Government Affairs for the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives. In this role, Rebecca is the primary liaison for the Iowa Institute of Cooperatives and its members, with the legislative and regulatory branches of state and federal government(s).
Additionally, she is the member contact as it relates to government affairs and encouraging their grassroots participation in legislative issues.
Rebecca was raised on a corn, soybean, and independent hog farm in Ringsted, Iowa. She graduated from Drake Law in 2021 and gained legislative experience with a multi-client lobbying firm in Des Moines during the 2021 Iowa Legislative Session.
As the Director of Cooperative Development, Rick’s responsibility is to identify and provide services which enhance our member Cooperative’s success. These services can be industry-wide or tailored to fit a member’s needs. They are focused on: Education, training, and other programs that align with our mission and vision. Rick has over 11 years of financial and accounting experience with 9 of those at local cooperatives. Rick began his journey with the Iowa Institute in 2022.
