RESPONSIBILITIESThe Customer Service position as a member of Viafield’s team will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service at the front counter and scale operations. This detail-oriented and organized team player will work with customer account questions and orders, and other administrative tasks. This position will also assist with outside facility operations including; maintenance on equipment, grain legs and dryer, working with anhydrous, the feed warehouse, helping to keep the facility clean and safe, and will also cross-train to assist in other departments and locations. Viafield’s vision of serving as the Trusted Advisor requires a knowledgeable communicator, who positively impacts the team doing what it takes to get the job done in a timely, safe, and accurate manner for smooth operations. Viafield’s team members profoundly affect the organizations success, so it is essential to deliver on our mission of customer service.
- Excellent Customer Service skills (face to face, over the phone, and written)
- Must be comfortable navigating the computer
- Must have or be willing to obtain Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements
- Must be comfortable with heights and working in a variety of weather conditions
- Longer hours during peak Spring/Fall seasons
- Mechanical skills preferred
- Ability to transport 50lbs
