Job Detail

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
    General Duties – including, but not be limited to the following:
    • Custom application of Dry, Liquid, and NH3
    • Agronomy equipment and facilities maintenance and repairs
    • Blending, loading and delivery of bulk fertilizers
    • Handle bulk and packaged crop protection products (hazardous materials and 50# lift)
    • Anhydrous Ammonia – Filling nurse tanks, farm delivery, equipment maintenance, custom application
    • Seed delivery or warehouse duties
    • During non-peak agronomy season, this position may fill in as a Grain Semi Driver and perform other grain handling duties as necessary.
    Safety
    • Maintain any company equipment used in the performance of your job in good physical and mechanical condition
    • Operate equipment in a safe manner and in compliance with all OSHA, state and federal regulations
    • Communicate safe storage and handling procedures to all customers
    • Adhere to all company safety policies as described in Company Handbook
    • Attend Right-to-Know, safety, and anhydrous ammonia training as required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    Qualifications
    • High School diploma required, 2 year degree preferred but not required.
    • Agriculture background/experience preferred, but not required.
    • Applicator certification is not required, but this position should obtain and maintain custom applicator certification (minimum of core, plus 1A and 1B and 1C) within timeframe set by management.
    • Should obtain and maintain Class A CDL with Haz Mat – Tanker - Air Brakes.
    • Overtime, including nights and weekends will be necessary during peak agronomy seasons.
