Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with targeted customers and prospects to market agronomy products and services that enhance the producer’s business and increase profitable sales
  • Utilize risk management strategies with current and future accounts
  • Grow personal knowledge of agronomy and business to improve problem solving skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in agriculture (prefer job-related work experience)
  • Strong basic understanding of agronomy technical knowledge
  • Demonstrates strong communication/persuasive/business skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability/experience to balance work and life issues
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to form fast and strong business relationships
  • On the job learning and teamwork

Preferred Experience:

  • Sales experience requiring setting appointments and demonstrating value to the customer
