RESPONSIBILITIESmay include, but not limited to, the following: • Transport agronomy products and merchandise according to orders received. • Professional representation of the company through responsible driving. • Ensure all required documents are always in the vehicle. • Perform and document daily truck/trailer inspections, keep equipment clean and follow regular maintenance schedules. • Ensure daily truck log sheets are filled out properly and turned in daily. • Verify the correct product and product amount is loaded/unloaded and secured before leaving premises. • Responsible for loading at legal DOT weight limits. • Mix fertilizer and chemicals properly to ensure quality standards and accuracy. • Handle and deliver product as assigned. • Fuel and load truck to prepare for next day if possible. • Notify supervisor and aid in resolving customer complaints promptly. • Report any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor. • Use extreme caution while driving in customer properties; drive slowly and watch for children, pets, animals, toys, flower beds, hedges, and lawns and avoid damage to customers’ buildings and property. • Watch for overhead wires when using augers. • Observe OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations and follow all company and regulatory agency safety policies. • Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license. • Ensure all paperwork for product deliveries and services are promptly turned in to the office. • Maintain UFC equipment and recommend replacement or repairs when necessary • Maintain fertilizer and chemical warehouses and report repairs, unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor. • Assist in loading and unloading company and customer vehicles with product based upon work order or customer tickets. • Ensure customers are informed of safe product handling. • Uphold all UFC’s safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned by management. • Assist in keeping all inside and outside work areas clean and orderly. • Assist with measure and counting of inventory of dry and liquid fertilizers, NH3, lime and chemicals. • Work with the cooperative team to facilitate excellent customer service across multiple locations
QUALIFICATIONS• Demonstrate strong customer service skills. • Strong basic understanding of agriculture knowledge. • Valid Class A CDL: with required endorsements or the ability to obtain and a clean driving record. • Strong work ethic with the ability/ experience in balancing the agricultural working time needs and personal life • Proven self-starter with the ability to learn cooperative guidelines and vision for growth. • Ability to work with software programs that interface with others for proper tracing of product. • Willing to continue to learn and ability to adapt to ever-changing agricultural technology.

Responsible for efficient and accurate fertilizer, pesticide and fungicide deliveries and perform functions
that will include maintenance of equipment, plant, rolling stock, operations of forklifts, loaders, tender
trucks, and other duties as required.
